About the Artist (Italiano)
Lucio Oliveri is a born sculptor with a vocation that finds way in him since the age of nineteen.
In the 70's he perfects his art under the aegis of Master Franco Zazzeri.
His muses are women, hands, bodies. He does not make only a quotation of them but, from the element/object, he extrapolates spirituality, feelings, emotions.
Oliveri speaks through his works of the cognitive passages of the human mind in all its variety of colors and complex entirety.
The sweet aura that permeates his sculptures fuses in the sensuality of attitudes and graceful postures, strongly plastic at the same time, involving the senses and stimulating the reason.
Oliveri has also participated to innumerable exhibitions, some of which are:
Art Fairs: Monte Carlo; Leyden, Rosmalen (Holland); Gent (Belgium); Padova, Turin, Reggio Emilia, Parma, Jesolo (Italy).
Solo exhibitions: Milan, Rome, Castellanza, Binasco, Fortunago, Dolceacqua, Novara, Imola, Piacenza, Busto Arsizio, Ventimiglia, Como (Italy); Nice (France); Monte Carlo.
Presentation of Monographic Volume and Anthological Exhibition at Palazzo Barberini in Rome.
He has also been recipient of numerous first prizes at national and international competitions.
