About the Artist
Wee Lee is an award winning nature artist.
His Style originated in his early training when he studied at the Oriental Art School in Saigon with teachers who were followers of a style embracing western perspective and the fluid and gestural brush work associated with traditional Chinese brush painting.
Wee has a profound passion towards drawings and paintings and he is also a nature lover, fascinated by all the living creatures in our environment. It is natural for him to combine both interests into one lifetime endeavor to create nature paintings. Besides focus on floras and birds, his subject include everything in the ecosystems such as the hidden beauty of undergrowth in the woods, tiny unnoticeable rocks, fungi and so on.
Wee Lee's work is part of many public and private collections.
