About the Artist
Sculptur JMac is a Canadian born artist. She is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her postgraduate studies include: Ecole National Superior des Beaux-Arts Paris France,
University of Toronto and the Ontario College of Education Toronto, Canada.
Her sculpture encompasses the human element. Through the sculptural medium she reflects what she sees around her whether it be the politics of living,
social ramifications of the environment, or humour derived from our human frailties.
Her work has been shown in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia.
In 2004 J Mac was selected by an international jury of art experts from five continents for an international exhibition entitled ARTiade- Olympics of Visual Art.
This show ran during the XXVII Olympic Games Athens Greece. She was one of three Canadian artists representing Canada in Athens.
