About the Artist
Paul Gulotta is a native New Yorker and a graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, Bachelor of Fine Arts (1968).
He worked in the advertising and visual communication field as an illustrator, designer and art director in New York, Halifax and Montreal, as well as continuing to paint and exhibit.
Paul believes that a great piece of art should offer people time to reflect. "Artists are conduits of emotional expression - mirrors of the human condition - what finds its way onto the canvas is that which cannot be expressed".
Painting primarily in acrylic, he creates beautiful works that embrace pristine clarity and moods of introspection. No matter the subject being painting, each image conveys feelings that capture the attention of the onlooker,
immersing him in a dream world that diverts the kinetic pace of the everyday life.
